whodo是Solaris系统自带的一个软件，用来检查当前登录用户状态。

它在处理"CFTIME"环境变量时存在一个安全漏洞，如果用户为此变量设置一个很长的参数
，将导致缓冲区溢出发生。攻击者可能利用此问题以whodo运行身份执行任意代码.

在某些Solaris版本中，whodo被设置了suid root属性，攻击者可能利用此漏洞获取root
权限。
目前已知有问题的系统版本以及程序位置：

/usr/sbin/sparcv7/whodo (SunOS 5.8 Sparc)
/usr/sbin/i86/whodo     (SunOS 5.8, 5.7 Intel)
/usr/sbin/whodo         (SunOS 5.5.1)
